Eileen M. Ford is Of Counsel with Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly. She is admitted to practice in Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. She is also a member of the Delaware Bar Association, the Defense Counsel of Delaware Section and the Women’s in Law Section of the Bar Association.

Eileen graduated from Utica College of Syracuse University in 1985, with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. She then attended Widener University School of Law, graduating in 1990. During law school, she was a member of the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law Review. Upon graduation, Eileen worked four years in the general practice of law handling real estate, probate, family, and consumer bankruptcy matters. She also maintained a solo practice for several years, concentrating in the real estate and consumer bankruptcy law.

Two years prior to joining Marks O’Neill, Eileen worked for LegalServices of Delaware, Inc., a non-profit law firm handling a variety of matters, including landlord/tenant, debtor/creditor, bankruptcy and a host of other issues faced by low-income clients.

Since joining Marks O’Neill in 2008, Eileen has represented clients in the areas of professional negligence, whether consulting, legal and/or medical matters. In addition to liability defense work, for the past years Eileen has managed the Asbestos Litigation Defense Team in the firm’s Delaware office, handling negligence, product liability mass toxic tort cases. In this position, she has implemented policies and minimized litigation costs. Her general practice background is a resource that enables her to identify issues and/or defenses in cases that may not be readily apparent at first glance.

Eileen enjoys bicycle ride excursions, hiking, visiting beaches and traveling. She also volunteers at her church as a member of the collection counting team.
